Tell Grace to stop touching me!
She is totally kicking me on purpose!
I’m so frustrated because you won’t do anything about her kicking me!!! Shouldn’t she go to timeout??
What was that, she’s grounded? Sweet!
Interview with Hank
Hank can be very sweet with his little sister. This morning he followed me into her room when I went to go get her from her bed. He climbed up on the ledge at the bottom of her crib, peeked over the crib and said “Hi baby”.
Grace loves him just as much. She follows his every move as if she is trying to figure how to be just like her big brother!
I love watching them grow together!
This morning, I was sent home with this picture from Hank’s western day at school:
The letter said “Feel free to take these pictures home and decide if you want to purchase them – there is no obligation. Please keep the pictures you want, & return payment or unpurchased pictures”
It should of said, “Take this adorable picture home and try to resist purchasing it! Just Try! Because, I will bet you will have a check when you come to pick up your kid this afternoon!”
So much going on…so little time! I really don’t know where my time goes but my days are flying by right now.
1. Next Monday is my 6 week post-delivery appointment….I should be okayed to start working out!!! I really can’t wait….it has been way to long! However, I still haven’t figured out when I am going to work out. I think I am going to run after I put the kids to bed until I go back to work…then I am going to try and run on my lunch break. (My dogs are excited about this also! They are my running buddies!)
2. Which brings me to number 2, I go back to work in about 4 weeks. I am having mixed feelings about this…..
3. We are planning a trip to Seattle over Memorial Day weekend. I am so excited to go back but am trying to figure out kid friendly things to do while we are there. Seattle peeps here we come!!! We were also going to try and go to my hometown (Spokane) but it isn’t going to workout this trip. Too much travel with too many little kids!
4. Hank has his first dentist appointment next week. Wish me luck! He hates to get his haircut so I am assuming the dentist appointment is going to be lovely!
I know there was more that I wanted to say but I can’t remember right now!
Lastly, here is a little update on my little birds!
Hank is definitely ALL toddler and NO baby. He runs, he screams, he laughs so hard, he pleads, he is interested in everything! Although he is at a difficult age, I love his little spirit. He is determined to do everything and is rarely shy. He loves to look at pictures and LOVES to read. We are so impressed by his vocabulary right now. He will try to say anything and mimics a lot of what we say. He LOVES people and lately has really started to notice big kids. He wants to do everything they are doing. I am so proud to be his Mama.
Grace is a beautiful sweet little baby. From her very first day, she has been extremely alert. She is an observer. She rarely makes a peep and is completely content looking around. She started smiling this weekend. She has the same cow-lick as Hank. It is smack dab in the middle of the back of their heads. The hair swirls up and in a circle. I am secretly hoping that this means she is going to have curly hair just like him. I am so excited to see her grow. I am so lucky to be her Mama.
Whenever Tater tells Hank “No”, he says “No Sir”. This past weekend, Hank has started saying “No Sir” to us whenever he tells us No. It is pretty hilarious to hear him!!
Us: “Hank are you ready for bed?”
Hank: “No Sir”
Us: “Hank, please sit on your butt”
Hank: “No Sir”
You get the picture…..
I will try to get it on video this week!!!
Tomorrow, we are getting Grace’s newborn pictures done!! Yay!!!
