Fish should not be this big! I have a fear of fish and ESPECIALLY catfish…..and these are the pictures that Tater brings home to me from his fishing trip.
wait there is more!
And to think, I was almost sold on the idea of buying property on this river!!
Last Wednesday, Hank’s daycare told us that they were nervous about his cough because another baby had gotten RSV earlier that week and they weren’t sure if he caught it. His doctor didn’t do an RSV check but assumed that he had it and we have been treating it accordingly. We kept Hank out of daycare on Thursday and Friday and Nick and I switched off between work and playing with Hank. Hank had (and still has) a bad cough but never had a fever, was never lethargic, was not very tired and was generally a very happy baby all weekend long. I think he was playing hookey so he could stay home and show us all his new tricks. This weekend, Hank rolled from his back to his stomach, starting talking (okay….babbling) ALL DAY LONG and cut two bottom teeth!!
Here is Hank and his Dad speaking about politics. (As you can tell, Nick and I are still learning to use the video camera!)
Hank started daycare three weeks ago and we have spent one week of that three weeks at home because of bronchiolitis! He picked up his first dose of bronchiolitis at the first daycare we took him too (we changed daycares after a week…..but we will save this for another post). We stayed home for a few days and then after another week he got bronchiolitis again! This past time, he most likely got it from another baby at his daycare who got RSV last week. Other than his awful cough, you wouldn’t know he is sick. He is smiling, playing and squirming all around! He is also eating and sleeping normally.
If you need me, I will be busy trying to keep all of Hank’s medicine straight!
Hank had so many first this month but I am too tired to blog about them. We just got home from our 20+ hour drive from Wyoming. However, I am going to make a list of them to come back and blog about them soon. We have a lot to blog about!
First trip on a plane (Washington State)
First Ferry ride
First Taxi ride
First Laugh
First Road Trip (Wyoming)
First Water park experience (Indoor park in South Dakota with a temperature of -8 degrees!)
First Christmas
Whew…. December flew by. I will definitely blog about all of this soon as I start work in 1 week (but I’m so not ready to go back!).
Tomorrow is little Hank’s first airplane ride and I’m nervous!! We are going to Spokane and Seattle to visit family and friends. I have everything packed and I’m ready to go…..here’s our schedule for tomorrow:
11:45am (Pacific time) – Hopefully land on time and run down get our bags then go back up to the Southwest ticketing counter to check our bags for our flight to Spokane, board our flight to Spokane. Why, you ask? Well because, Continental and Southwest don’t work together and they won’t transfer my bags for me! Here’s the kicker, we need to do all this by 1:20pm. Wish me luck!
Since we are going to be gone for a lot of December, we went and got Hank’s Santa Pictures done. We got to the mall right after Hank ate so we could get him while he was still awake but Santa was “feeding his reindeer”. While we waited for Santa to get back, Hank fell asleep but I think the picture turned out great!
